Profiles
October Soul goes beyond blues. High energy by nature, they showcase their own original work, along with a set list packed with country and rock. Sometimes unplugged, their acoustic work explodes with just as much intensity.
Formed in October 2009, the Soul's all-star line-up consists of multi-award winning vocalist Jamie Brace (Red Sage), veteran guitarist Joe Barborich (Red Sage, formerly The Katz Sass), and bassist Tony Bremer (Red Sage).
October Soul is a proud member of the Grafton Blues Association and the Wisconsin Area Music Industry.
Tony Bremer has been playing the Midwest all the way from the Canadian border to Missouri the last several years. He studied under Jeff Berlin in Tampa, Florida then played and recorded in the Minneapolis music scene for the better part of a decade. His basslines have been heard on several albums on radio stations across the country and he has played stages big and small across the Midwest all the way from a dirt floor in Fargo to Country USA main stage. He has opened for such groups as Buck Cherry, Taylor Swift, Jimmy Wayne, Default, and Vanilla Ice, that's right, Vanilla Ice! When Tony isn't laying down the bass lines for October Soul, he jams in the Country/Rock band Red Sage.
